I have been a Christian Spiritualist for the past 25 years after having given up conventional religion at the age of 4 and not being able to the gap until I was guided, by Spirit, to Grove Road Spiritualist Church in Luton. As I grew it seemed more and more to me, that ‘God’ didn’t make people suffer, but that most suffering is created by man. God is just a shortened form of Good - anything not Good is not God. I do NOT believe in religion, as it is man-made. Man likes to control his fellow man by taking away his Freedom to choose his own Destiny. I trust that Spirit will guide me where I need to go and in what I need to do. I always try to go by my own Truth, Intuition and Guidance offered from the Source. The series of books "Conversations with God" by Neale Donald Walsch descibe my beliefs as closley as I ever could. The purpose is not to forcast the future or to tell you what to do. You always have Freedom of choice and you have all the answers that you need inside yourself. Advice and comfort can be offered from Spirit people, though. Often simple observations of the little things are the most profound messages. Many Mediums work with their own Spirit Guides and can help bring yours through. My Guides work from a counselling level, as that is my nature. We each have an abundance of Guidance available to us from the Spirit world but we block it off, through being tense and anxious a lot of the time. We work much better with Spirit when we are in a relaxed, meditative or self-hypnotic state. I have just decided that a recent photo will give a better reading - if it is very old, stuff from way back may come through which is not necessarily recognised, it seems. I had assumed that it didn't matter as the photo contains your energy, but we are all constantly changing, I guess. I don’t know how it all works other than being a conduit for a passed Soul’s thought. All thoughts carry Power. To meet someone you’ve never met before and help them with information of which you had no possible way of knowing, is quite exciting and constantly amazing. It is a great privilege to be able to work in this way, but I personally, can only do it in the right conditions. I am not ‘switched on’ all the time - fortunately - it would be awful if you hadn't learned to switch off, as portrayed in a recent TV series.

Evil can be thought of as like darkness - when the Light is brought in, it cannot exist of itself. In the same way as there is no cold - only lack of heat. I’m sure you’ll find a Spiritual Development or Healing Circle, where people just sit and relax to nice music and commune with loved ones in Spirit or pass on Healing. Which-ever one you choose, it’s always a relaxing evening which will benefit you in many ways, even before any Gifts may begin to develop themselves. Some people believe that if we just Accept everything "As it Is" and do not strive for anything, then we are automatically Enlightened. I am still working on this one, though I think we are all Enlightened in our own ways anyway ! When we give up judging ourselves and others we are more free...
