METAPHYSICS AND SPIRITUAL
AWARENESS COUNSELLING !

Metaphysics is the study of the Universal Life Force, the Spiritual Energy or Soul or God, which is a part of all living things. Maybe put more simply, Spiritual Awareness.

The Universe is governed by set Laws which are immutable, as are the laws of physics. Through Metaphysics we can learn to use those Laws to the benefit of ourselves and all those we have contact with.

There are many different names for this Universal Power, Chi, Ki, God, Spirit, Unconditional Love, Infinite Intelligence, Christ Consciousness, Prana, Buddha, the list is almost endless. I personally prefer Divine Spirit as it explains exactly what I mean.

In Metaphysics, we Believe and Know that every thought has Power and that the more you think a thought the more Power it has over your life. False beliefs we have been taught or taken on board through our experience or adopt from race consciousness (i.e. cultural beliefs) do damage to our systems and cause illness in one way or another.

One way of changing the way you think is through Metaphysical Prayer which consists of a series of statements which counteract the negative behaviour and replace the negative ideas with positive thoughts. You simply read this prayer aloud to yourself over and over every day until things actually do get better. It is a very powerful tool for healing.

Every thought that we think affects our lives one way or another. By the Law of Cause and Effect, our thoughts pass into our subconscious minds and take root. They grow into exactly what was planted there from the conscious mind. We always think a prayer in the NOW as if what we choose has already happened, for once you have thought it, it is indeed already in the pipeline, if we choose to let it manifest itself. Nothing is beyond our imagination.

There is only one Perfect Power,
one Perfect Love, one Perfect Light,
working through me, on every level of my being.

This Divine Force is Everywhere. It is All Knowing.
It is indeed, All Powerful.
The Nature of this Essence is Health,
Safety and Protection.
It is Peace, Strength and Light.

This Energy knows nothing of anxiety,
fear or upset.
It is unaware of pain or suffering.

For this Great Strength Knows only Calmness,
Courage and Happiness. It is Pleasure and Serenity.
 
I am now filled with this Wonderful Love
and it fulfils me on all Levels of my Being,
 Spiritual, mental, emotional and physical.

I now Forgive all those who have ever hurt me.
I Forgive myself.
I Love myself for just Being who I Am.

I now relax and Release myself
into the Love of Spirit.
All the Goodness that I choose for myself
is happening, right Now.

Prayers should be read out loud to yourself at least once or twice a day, till you Believe and Trust in the words fully. See life exactly how you choose it, RIGHT NOW in your mind’s eye. And keep this image at the forefront of your mind at all times. Truly believe it already IS in Mind. Make sure you really want it, what-ever it is !!

If you want something enough and keep it in the front of your mind at all times, those thoughts cannot help but become reality, unless you are blocking it in some way from within. The Universe runs on Metaphysical Laws or Principles, which are impersonal and immutable. It does not matter who uses the Laws or to what purpose, they act mechanically and automatically.

Evil is human ignorance and misuse of the Laws, but does not exist of itself. The only Power is the Power of Love, Good and Enlightenment, but we make mistakes and desire things or situations which cause us problems, we draw that misfortune through our thinking.
 
Misuse of the Divine Energy always results in problems for the abuser, because the very Nature of the Power moves us towards the Light, but that is generally not understood. Everything does indeed happen for a reason – to learn from. Life is for learning about ourselves and others. We need to be careful of what we ask for, because that’s what we get, through our thought Power, but it’s not always what we need or really want at the end of the day.

Needs and wants are two very different things. Man has freedom of choice to use his Power in what-ever way he chooses, but there are always consequences to every action.
 
In Metaphysical or Spiritual Awareness Counselling, we look for the false beliefs that people are carrying round with them. As we are growing up we pick up amounts of beliefs about ourselves and other people which are total nonsense if we were to look at them objectively. We have unpleasant experiences and believe that every time we get into a situation, the outcome will be exactly the same as that first time.

We are like sponges as children and automatically absorb false information from the race belief system i.e. what our culture believes and from our parent’s belief systems, all of which may or may not be True. Much is based in fear, rejection and distrust of others.

Part of Freeing ourselves into our Truth is in examining the false beliefs that we carry, such as expectation of rejection, failure or success (yes, we can be very afraid of the responsibility success brings...), inability to form meaningful relationships etc.

Also in learning to deal with feelings of anger, guilt & blame etc and working on forgiving others, but especially forgiving ourselves and learning to love ourselves for exactly who we are. It’s important that we are not trying to live up to other’s expectations of us, parents, teachers, partners even children’s. Our own expectations can be tainted and when we are trying to live our lives through someone else's eyes we can never be happy.

One of the most painful feelings is when we’ve suffered rejection by others. This is often very close to being the root cause of most people’s problems. But it is really the feeling of separation that we have, that is the cause of it all. When we are born into life on Planet Earth, we feel that we have been separated from God, Our “Father in Heaven”. We feel that we have been disconnected from the presence of Spirit, because that is how we are brought up, to believe that we are not a part of God but just mortal. 

The physical body is Spirit incarnate, Spirit flows through us and is indwelling within us at all times, we cannot be disconnected from Spirit, but we can block off the full flow through our being, in our belief in separation from God and wrong thinking. YOU ARE GOD in human form, Know it now !!

LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE

The Law of Cause & Effect an all important Law, What we sow, so shall we reap. Everything in existence is an effect with a cause created from our thought or via Spirit’s thought.

The Law of Reflection sends right back what-ever you send out, it always returns, whether it is Love or negativity.

The Law of Attraction draws to us the things we Love, hate and fear. We attract people, circumstances, abundance etc to us by our way of thinking and our expectations in life.

The Law of Grace is the Highest Law of all - if we align with Spirit it neutralises the Law of Karma.
