www.nrhp.co.uk    The National College of Hypnosis & Psychotherapy. 
Based in Nelson in Lancashire, England. I trained with this college and
strongly recommend it. PLEASE only ever see a qualified hypnotherapist,
this is a good place to start looking (UK only).

More comprehensive list of trained members available by 'phoning
01282 699378 (as only Full Members are listed on the site).
Associate Members are well trained too - You may find someone
good nearer to you, talk with them first and get a feeling for
the therapist chosen.

Please note that at the moment still, anyone can just read a book
and go into practise - there is no legislation in the UK.
PLEASE find a reputable therapist, if they do not feel right
to you, please avoid.

Always compare prices, as recently I have found some outrageous
fees being charged. Do not necessarily choose the cheapest person
either, as they may well be new therapists.
NEVER sign up for a prolonged course of sessions at your first
consultation or sign away any rights that you were offered,
such as a money back guarantee (which is a bit bizarre, as the mind
does what it want when it is ready...). 
Do not agree if the marketing is fierce. Do not sign something
when you are totally relaxed following a treatment, as the cares
of the world can seem far away when you first come out of hypnosis.

You can never guarantee to "CURE" someone, not everyone wants
to be cured and they may not even realise that ! You can only be
helped if you want to do it for yourself - not because someone
else is pushing you, this especially applies to giving up smoking
or slimming to please another. You cannot be made to do something
against your will, regardless of  the general false beliefs about hypnosis.

Anyone offering that has no handle on the work, by the way,
as you cannot guarantee anything, as when you are working
with someone's subconscious mind - it will do what it it wants,
when it is ready and only then. You can only give it ideas and
it will work on them in it's own time.

www.hypnotherapistregister.com  is a useful link if you are unable
to find a therapist from the NRHP in your area.
It lists people from lots of different registers in the UK.

This lecture was so full of humour and Wisdom, it was a joy to listen to. Every conceivable thing that could prevent me from getting there in one piece happened, but I got there eventually and  thoroughly enjoyed a politically Spiritual lecture to set the world alight, a very intuitive guy.

www.innerpeacemovement.org  I came home one day, back in about 1981, to find the radio not on the music channel I always had it on. I don't like just talking, I like to boogie. There was however, a lady called Susan Scott on it, who helped change my life. She was doing a talk on the IPM in a pub in LUTON, Beds,  and I went to the talk and became very active in the group for a long time.

They were based in London then (though the founder, who I did get the Honour of meeting - Fransisco Coll is of course, American - God bless him. I believe the Inner Peace Movement are based somewhere around Birmingham, now.

I say "Hi" to Kathy Green, who was a wonderful friend and fascillitator then, I saw more Miracles with my work with them, than at any other time of my life (until reading Neale Donald Walsch's books - he reminds me of Miracles every day).

www.highindex.com   Seems to be quite a useful search engine, as I am quite near the top for the moment :o)))) Though it did take you into Metaphysics rather than hypnotherapy as listed, at least it gets you here !

http://www.wizanda.co.uk/  Wizandra is a site devoted to getting people of different faiths to communicate, which would seem very highly commendable ! Very professional looking site, unlike this one, which I do myself... Check it out, it looks very interesting.
