Welcome to Active Healing! website. 

Les Draper Eames is a qualified nurse, hypnotherapist, psychotherapist and Metaphysical (Spiritual Awareness) counsellor. She is also a Reiki Master and clairvoyant medium.

Les comes from Liverpool, which remains her Spiritual home. She trained as a nurse for handicapped people qualifying as RNMS in 1980 after the 3 years training and worked in that field for a futher 7 years. 

After 3 years as Ward Sister, Les felt she needed to change career as problems of understaffing mounted. So she has a good understanding of working under pressure and the problems caused by stress!

She trained as a hypnotherapist & psychotherapist, alongside her nursing work, with the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and went into private practice on January 5th 1987.

Les trained in Reiki Healing to Master's in 1997 and also incorporated Clairvoyant readings into her work around the same time. She trained with the late, great Ron Moulding, who was an inspiration to many and a wonderful Medium for Spirit. Ron is deeply missed by all who knew and Loved him.

Les has been training in clairvoyance and on her own Spiritual Being since 1981. She has worked around many local Churches from Buckingham to Chesham in the past and has also done some psychic fair work. Her mediumship is very valuable in her hypnotherapeutic work, as it gives much added insight into people's problems.

Les trained in Metaphysical (Spiritual Awareness) counselling  , qualifying as a practitioner in 2001. Her work can help ease most emotional problems, stress and anxiety management, panic attacks, fears and phobias, depression, nerves, social phobia, relationship problems, bereavement issues etc. In fact, most life issues can be addressed including, of course, smoking cessation and weight loss. Les prefers to Heal through the use of hypnotherapy techniques, as she finds hypnosis works more quickly and efficiently, but all disciplines and techniques are combined at all times.

Les's qualifications read: Qualified Nurse, DHP(NC), MNRHP, MSEC(Prac), Reiki Master.

Initials are  Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (National College), Member of National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists,  Metaphysical Society for the Expansion of Consiousness (Practitioner). She is no longer registered as a nurse, as she does not intend to return to nursing, although she is still qualified.

Les prefers to work with hypnosis as it speeds up any healing process. Hypnosis is a lovely state of deep relaxation where the mind is much more open to accepting positive ideas that will help in your everyday life. There is nothing wierd & wonderful about it, we do it every day - when watching TV & also when we are driving!

All experienced drivers find themselves reaching a destination without remembering the journey. Once you have learned to drive, you no longer need the conscious mind to drive for you, you go onto automatic pilot and the subconscious just gets on and does it. If something out of the ordinary should happen, you just come straight back to deal with the situation.

Hypnosis is a normal state of mind and nothing to fear. You cannot be made to do anything you do not want to do, as a Critical Sensor in the mind will kick in. Please check out Stage Hypnosis for more info in that area. You can be helped to do anything that you want to do, when you are ready to do it.

Hypnosis, as mentioned above, can ease many anxiety and stress-related problems, depression, nerves, panic attacks, phobias, relationship problems, in fact anything which is emotionally based. It can improve confidence and self-esteem as well as the old nutmegs, which are the only things people seem to recognise that hypnotherapy can help - stopping smoking and starting slimming.

Bereavement counselling is also a speciality, as Les is a trained clairvoyant medium, which gives much unique insight into the background of many problems. Much of depression, anxiety and panic attacks can be traced back to the loss of a Loved one.

Les also sends Reiki to her clients in hypnosis, which again improves rate of improvement. Please tell her if you prefer not to receive Healing as she occasionally forgets to ask permission... Most people come at a point where they are willing to try anything!

If you prefer to work without hypnosis that's ok too, but add a few sessions to your requirements. Les has always found hypnotherapy to be her most effective and efficient tool, but incorporates all aspects into that work at all times.
