Welcome to my Active Healing! website  :o))))) I'm afraid it's fairly basic, none of your mod-cons here I am afraid, but I hope you find the information helpful. Wisdom is more important that the package it turns up in.

My name is Les Draper Eames. This is the Chatty Homepage, as I have decided that a more impersonal front was probably useful, just giving basic information and links to other pages. I have been told maybe I have too much prattle to keep certain types of people interested, for which I am sorry! I hate prattle myself, but do like to be chatty....

This site is about my work in hypnotherapy & psychotherapy, metaphysical or Spiritual Awareness counselling, Reiki Healing and clairvoyant mediumship, mainly. A short explanation of these can be found below or in more detail in other pages as listed down the side.

Here I deal with many Healing topics with which I have been working for much of my adult life. My main work and hobby too, is helping other people to learn to deal with their problems  more easily and to understand themselves and in the process those around them too. It is about simply becoming Who you really Are, instead of trying to please everyone else, all of the time.

It sounds easy - just Being Yourself -  but it is one of the most difficult tasks that many people today are involved in. In Healing yourself, you Heal other people too. It really is a Healing process and it is my own life's work, as the more I can learn about myself, the more I have to offer other people.

I am a qualified nurse, having worked with mentally handicapped people ("learning difficulties" does not really reflect the nature of the problem these wonderful people face) to Sister level for 3 years of my 10 year stint, only letting my registration drop a few years ago, as I do not intend to return to nursing in the foreseeable future. I have a good grounding in the medical side of things.

HYPNOTHERAPY!

My main method of Healing involves the use of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy together and I have worked as a hypno-psychotherapist since 1987. I work towards Healing without the use of medication, though you must always work in conjunction with your doctor and not stop any prescribed medicine against your GP's advice.

When you come off any medication, it should be done gradually with your doctor's help to avoid any adverse reactions which can often happen if you have been taking any medication for any period of time. Most people come to me for help to avoid medicinal drug use, after finding they suffer unpleasant side effects - all drugs carry side effects for some people, although we are all different.
